How might we enable visually impaired people to independently navigate around airports? Until now, blind people are dependent on special serve providers to find their gate, as the hallways are hard to explore, unable to read signs, no tactile models or other. Not only did we conduct a market and user research, but we developed an accessible app prototype based on a fundamental UX Strategy, supported by our lecturer from the Airbus Design Thinking department. Based on our Wizard of Oz App prototype, a blind folded person was able to find their way to the destination, as we documented with our test video.
